Our Process
Journeys Around the World makes it easy for you to enjoy the perfect vacation - creating authentic & meaningful travel for you and your loved ones. We will work with you to ensure every detail is taken care of, and customized to your personal preferences and travel dreams. Our goal is for you to have a fun, stress-free planning experience, and a getaway that you will never forget!
Consultation
As a new client, we will have a complimentary consultation (phone or zoom). We want to get to know you and your travel style. We will ask a lot of questions and explain the planning process. Planning fees will be discussed, and vary based on complexity of trip.
Confirmation
Once we determine if Journeys Around the World is a good fit for your travel needs and we both agree to move forward, we will present you with paperwork regarding terms and conditions, an estimate and invoice for fees, etc.
Research
Next, we begin researching hotels, touring/transportation, cruises, etc. based on our consultation. You will be asked for feedback along the way, as a customized itinerary is designed just for you!
The Details
Our services also include letting you know about the need for country visas, immunizations, insurance and other travel related items specific to your trip. We can also help you book tours and activities, dining, spa treatments, transportations, and more!
Bon voyage
The time has come! Once you are on your way to your dream vacation, we continue to work in the background on your behalf, working with my colleagues who are taking care of you on your trip, making sure all is well.
Recap
When you return home, it is very important that we get your feedback. What did you love, what would you like to do differently next time, what have you/we learned about your travel style and preferences. Based on your feedback, if we can make your next trip even more magical…I will. And of course, we will discuss your future travel plans!
