Add three letters to Paris, and you have paradise!
Earnest Hemmingway once said, “There are only two places in the world where we can live happy—at home and in Paris.”
Paris, the City of Light, has been visited by millions of travelers and is still one of the most popular destinations in the world. Its unforgettable charm, world famous cuisine and extensive art collections have beckoned travelers for centuries.
The hypnotic River Seine flows through the heart of the city, flanked on each side by museums, historic churches and charming neighborhoods which are enhanced by the cobblestone walkways, scenic bridges, colorful gardens, vintage streetlamps and of course the chic Parisians that fill the streets.
A day in Paris may begin with an early morning stroll, perhaps through Luxembourg Gardens, followed by a stop at a Parisian café. Linger over coffee and a croissant before you head out on foot to explore the sights and sounds and don’t stop until you see the sun setting behind the Louvre. Catch a tuk-tuk back to your hotel, freshen up and prepare for romantic dinner followed by a fun night of Cabaret. Are you ready to visit Paris?
When to Visit
To be clear, there is no bad time to visit Paris!
The winter months of January, February and March are the coldest months in Paris and the quietest time of the year. Bundle up in a chic winterwear and enjoy a stroll through a snowy Pont Neuf to the Latin Quarter.
Spring showers bring May flowers. In April and May, you will encounter rain, but when the rain stops you will find summer like weather without the crowds! Spring is an exceptional time to visit Jardin des Tuileries and Jardin du Luxembourg as the flowers are just starting to blossom.
Summertime in Paris (June, July, and August) is the busiest time of year. Temperatures can be quite warm, and the streets will be crowded, but it's a great time to visit and relax along the River Seine.
September and October are best months to visit Paris, a cool breeze brings a refreshing breeze to the city. The leaves on the trees begin to turn, making it one of the most scenic times of the year. You’ll enjoy the city crowd free through December when Paris becomes a hotspot for romantic, winter vacations.
November and December kick off the holiday season. The Champs-Élysées is decorated with Christmas lights, patisseries are filled with seasonal favorites such as the Galette des Rois and festive holiday markets open for the season.
